COVID UPDATE ANNOUNCEMENT

COVID UPDATE

Hello, thank you all for being patient awaiting my update regarding the new government guidelines released last night.

A-lot of people were worried about the new 6 person rule, However luckily this does not apply too us. After receiving guidelines from Sport England this only applies to adults taking part in sports indoors were they interact with each other. We currently are still social distancing in classes with 1m distancing rules so at the time being we are currently exempt from this rule. So at the moment we are okay to keep running as we are.

Unfortunately the country has been moved to a Level 4 COVID Alert, which is;
‘A COVID-19 epidemic is in general circulation; transmission is high or is rising exponentially’ Keeping current social distancing measures and restrictions.
Due to this change in the country’s Covid alert I have decided that this is not the right time to relax restrictions and move onto our full timetable on 5th October. I understand this is frustrating for everyone, me included, however I have got the health and wellbeing of all my athletes as my main priority and I must put the safety of everyone first.
We can still look forward too season 11 and have hope, but at the moment it is just not the right time to relax restrictions.
I am planning on holding special lessons/ workshops for each team, so while we are not on the season 11 timetable we can still get started and get together as teams to develop team moral and give us something to keep us going.

Until the country’s Covid alert goes back down to a Level 3 we will be continuing the current timetable and using the same booking system. Once the alert level drops we will then look at introducing Phase 3, relaxing restrictions and getting back to a full timetable. But until then we must stay safe and stick to the restricted timetable and all rules in place.

I have updated the COVID Contract, so can you all click the link below which will take you too the new Covid contact, please read thoroughly, sign and submit before your next lesson. You will have also received a email with the Contract attached if you are signed up too the Hawks App.

Competitions -

Sadly how it looks at present, the December competition will not be going ahead so we will not be collecting competition fees by this Friday as planned. We will keep you updated on a month to month basis regarding the following competitions. Keep your hopes high and also please keep saving for comps ready for future deadlines.

We will be moving the collection of the Loyalty fee to the 5th October as we want to place orders for T-shirts and we cannot do that until loyalty fee is paid as this is your guarantee to us for comp season.
This needs to be paid to Barbara Lester via Paypal/ Bank transfer , Please contact her for details.
- Please note, loyalty fee only applies too Allstar and limited all-star athletes. Athletes on the amateur fee and masters PAYG do not need to pay a loyalty fee. If you are unsure if you need to pay the loyalty fee please inbox me personally.

So as it stands we will continue with the current sessions, while keeping an eye on the countries COVID alert level, once it drops back down to a Level 4 we will look at introducing phase 3 and our season 11 timetable.
Also once loyalty fees are paid I will be organising team/ solo/ duo and trio workshops.

I hope everyone reads this throughly and answers all your questions. If you still are confused or unsure regarding anything please feel free to contact me, but first please read the above message as it should be all covered above.

Thank you
